Team Profiles
Dr. Songkiat brings over 35 years of civil and structural engineering experience spanning bridge design, tollway infrastructure, and large-scale highway projects across Thailand. Before founding ASIAM Infra, he served as Technical Director at Civil and Structural Engineers Co., Ltd., led engineering departments at Chuchawal–de Weger International, and held senior roles at J. Muller International and WSK Inter Consults on landmark projects including the Don Muang Tollway. He also served as a faculty member at Thammasat University's Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology.
Dr. Sukda currently serves as Managing Director at Don Muang Tollway Public Company Limited (DMT), having previously held the role of Executive Vice President — Business and Finance (CFO). A licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) with the Council of Engineers, Thailand, he also holds APEC Engineer and ASEAN Chartered Professional Engineer (ACPE) credentials, reflecting his recognized expertise across the region's civil engineering sector.
Dr. Ekarin is a structural engineer with over 20 years of experience in bridge condition assessment, strength evaluation, and structural design. His project portfolio includes the Rama 8 Bridge benchmark survey, condition assessments for over 70 slab-type bridges under Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, and strength evaluations for the Department of Highways. He also brings extensive design experience in solar energy infrastructure, load carrying capacity evaluations, and substation structures across Thailand.
Mr. Nishibayashi has been with Hanshin Expressway Co., Ltd. since 1987, accumulating decades of expertise in expressway engineering, maintenance, and operations. His long tenure at one of Japan's leading expressway operators reflects a deep commitment to infrastructure quality and long-term asset management, bringing internationally recognized Japanese engineering standards to ASIAM's advisory framework.
Dr. Kawakami brings nearly 30 years of experience from Hanshin Expressway Company Limited in Japan, where she rose from site engineer to Senior Expert and Director of International Projects, Maintenance, and Inspection Management. Her career spans engineering development, research and design, maintenance planning, and international business cooperation across Hanshin's Kobe and engineering departments. She holds a Master's degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder, USA.
